When you’re in the mood for eating out, you’ll be spoilt for choice thanks to the wealth of options when it comes to wining and dining – including household favourites chains, Wildwood, Nando’s, Wagamama, Argo and Pizza Express as well as quaint independents, and dessert bars. One of the most chilled places to get food or have a drink in Peterborough is Argo Lounge, a cafe and bar located right around the corner from the cathedral, one of the best places to visit in Peterborough. With plenty of tables and uniquely cosy decor, it’s easy to spend a lot of time inside relaxing and chatting. It’s open late too, and one of the best things to do in Peterborough as a couple is to see the cathedral just around the corner and then grab a drink together in the evening.

And the chocolate torte tasted almost play dough like, which I can only assume is due to it being gluten free, but not worth the money. I also ordered food and was later told that it was unavailable, so had to quickly decide what to have instead, which sort of ruined the experience for me. Perhaps staff should make us aware before ordering what is out of stock in order to avoid disappointment.

We’re right in the heart of the town, between our beautiful cathedral the the historic Guildhall, but that’s not why we’re magic. We’ve lovely outdoor space, light and airy interiors, and a fantastic range of menus, including full kids, gluten free and vegan menus; but that’s not why we’re magic. We’re magic because we have a storage room that is longer than the building itself!

The design we are putting into the building will be beautiful and modern and give great kerb appeal to the existing street line and fit in well with the other cafés, restaurants, bars, and venues including Argo, Middletons, Lightbox, German Doner Kebab and Grizzlers.
