Reviews Summary

Salumi Bar & Eatery is highly praised for its delicious food, ranging from globally inspired mains to exceptional Sunday roasts and tapas. Diners consistently commend the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the unique and cozy atmosphere. While most reviews are glowing, some note that drink prices can be a bit high.

"I had the chance to eat twice during my stay in Plymouth. And I can only recommend Salumi.
The staff is nice and attentive. The decoration is quirky and fun and the food is amazing.
The Sunday roast is a joy: food quality, presentation and taste. One of the best I have ever tried.
For Sunday roast I highly recommend booking in advance as the place can be packed.
The only downside to highlight is the price of the drinks. I reckon it is slightly pricey."

"If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in Plymouth, make your way to Salumi Bar and Eatery. This place has a fantastic, chic atmosphere without being overly stuffy. It’s perfect for a lively night out with friends or a romantic dinner. With a menu full of amazing dishes and a great selection of drinks, it's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and a stylish setting. The whole experience feels special, from the moment you walk in to the last bite."

"Salumi is simply the best in every aspect. My partner and I come here all the time and they have been consistently perfect every single time. Every single bit of our food has made us say ‘oh my god’ no matter what we’ve ordered. The attention to detail of what is put on our plates does not go unnoticed in terms of flavour. Furthermore, the staff are always incredible and never make you feel like an inconvenience - even when very busy (surprisingly hard to come by nowadays). Jamie has always been brilliant. His energy when being served by him always fills us with joy and confidence that we know we’ll be looked after. Alfie also shares the same qualities when we’ve been served by him.

The venue is also quaint and relaxing with a beautiful garden which I can’t wait to relax in when the sun is out.

I truly couldn’t speak more highly of Salumi if I wanted to. I would pay twice the amount they charge for their unbelievable dishes and still visit just as much.

Keep being amazing"

Popular eatery, Salumi, opened its doors to start offering food fresh from the coal in 2022. Their redeveloped beer garden, “The Garden of Dreams,” boats Plymouth’s first fire kitchen, where food is cooked in an open kitchen, outdoors over open coals. The restaurant was hoping to announce more dates for their pop-up in the near future, including the return of chef Dave’s favourites, the Rock Salt Pan Asia Night, reimagined over hot coals.
