"The breakfast was pretty good, and service was timely, however I thought that the music was too loud inside for a breakfast/lunch ambience, the tables were very sticky and a great many of them still had dirty plates from the last customers laid out on them.
When I ordered, I asked to substitute out my mushroom for a hash brown and was told this was not possible.
I had the option of extra beans (or veg of some kind) so I opted for more beans. When it arrived it was barely even bigger than the regular beans. Photo for comparison with a regular beans pot inside mine. It's ridiculous that this is considered 'extra' beans.
Also after 12 noon, a member of my party ordered a coffee, only to be told that this is not served after noon. We then discovered that coffee is on the regular menu without a restriction on timings so she returned to the bar, to request the coffee once again. She was then told that the coffee machine was broken which I suspect to be a lie, as they changed their story on approaching the bar for the second time, and people had been served coffee (including me) only minutes before."
