"I haven't been to the Hunters for a while, it looks amazing now with the themed cabins and Winter Lodge. We sat in the pub part where there was plenty of good seating and TVs, it wasn't too loud so we could talk and the food although more expensive than regular pubs was fantastic, the quality and generous portions made it good value for money, I had the Chicken, Ham and Leek Pie and it was delicious and very filling."

Our server, Jonnie, was very helpful with my dairy allergy, advising me on what to eat and ensuring a safe and enjoyable meal.

"Came here to have a roast dinner, been here a few times and never had an issue, food has always been lovely up until tonight, ordered a gammon roast dinner which I’ve had twice in the past, and was served what looks to be bacon, I pointed out that is was not off a joint, waiter took my plate away to the chef, the waiter then brought it back and proceeded to tell me that the chef said it was Infact off a “joint”… it was rock hard, and chewy, the tiny piece I did try, complained again and was offered a refund but still continued to tell us that it was off a piece of joint.
more angry at the fact they tried to gas light me, instead of just saying they had ran out and I’d have happily chosen something else, instead of making me feel stupid when I know I was right as I know how to cook a gammon joint!! terrible customer service tonight, won’t be going back."
