What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mumbai Bites is celebrated for its authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine, with many praising the friendly and efficient service. While some reviewers note the small, delivery-focused atmosphere, others find it a cozy spot for a delicious meal. The food is often described as fresh, hot, and good value, though a few have found certain dishes to be watery or lacking in spice.
"Fabulous food, friendly service in this popular restaurant on Sandown's High Street. Take out or dine in the food is delicious, hot and freshly made. We dined here this evening with family and despite being very busy with diners and Take Out Orders the food was served quickly, every dish was presented well and so good, all plates were cleared. Decent sized portions and value for money. As no alcohol is available, you can bring your own, which is a bonus when dining on a budget. Highly recommend."

"This place was a life saver. It was the only real halal option for us during our stay in the nearby premier inn. We had this for lunch on one day at the beach and for dinner another day in the restaurant. The food is tasty especially the saag paneer. When in the restaurant Tayeem really looked after us, thank you."
Huss Ali
"Great Indian food. Halal. Very busy. Small place so limited space but 6 of us easily got a table with other customers. Food was delicious. Close to the beach."
