They stayed in the pub in one of the rooms and we stayed in the campervan in the car park. ☺️ My mum and dad reported that the rooms were lovely and that the bed was HUGE and very comfy! 😍 The place is super dog friendly and dogs are allowed everywhere which is fab. 🐶🐾 The food was great - Lovely menu and ...

Reviews Summary

The Buck Inn receives praise for its friendly atmosphere, delicious food with generous portions, and excellent service, particularly from staff like Rachel who offer local knowledge. While many enjoy the hearty fare, some find the prices to be on the higher side and the interior can feel a bit cold.

"A Warm Welcome, Delicious Food, and Outstanding Service

We had a fantastic experience at this welcoming and friendly pub. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, the food was excellent with generous portions, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating.

A special mention goes to Rachel (who I believe may be the manager, as she seemed to have a hand in everything). She was absolutely lovely — friendly, attentive, and full of helpful local knowledge. Her enthusiasm and professionalism truly stood out and made us feel right at home. She's a real asset to the team.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a genuine local pub experience."

"A very friendly pub with very decent food. Beer is served with pride - beer lines are obviously kept very clean. A most enjoyable pint after a very long walk.

Just had a beef burger that I can easily give 10/10 to. Chips were spot on and decent too.

Would definitely visit again..

Oh, it's dog friendly too which deserves a mention."

"Perfect for a drink and some food, after exploring the stunning scenery around Malham. We visited Malham Tarn during the day for a lovely circular walk, and then the Cove at about 6pm, after all the crowds and traffic had dispersed. It's the best time to go.

The pub was busy, but not packed at 7pm, we got a table in the bar area and had a nice meal. The beer selection is very good and well kept, just what we needed after a day walking."
