"Was visiting a family member in the area who advised us to eat here. Menu had a lot to choose from, the steak was 👌🏼 and chocolate fudge cake pudding was delicious too. Would definitely come back when in the area."

"Overall food was ok. The chicken burger was very thin on a large bun with a large portion of fries and coleslaw (there was a choice of skinny fries, chunky chips or sweet potato fries for this meal). The spicy burger was tasty but could have been thicker. The Sunday lunch was a generous portion with A LOT of gravy. The chicken breast was large but quite dry (lots of gravy needed), the veg was served separate with the choice of cheese sauce on top. Veg could have been better as the swede was watery and most of the veg was well overcooked. The sprouts were still very hard (under done). The Yorkshire pudding was large and crisp (it crumbled into dust as soon as you touched it, too crispy). Price is good for the quality of food provided. Portions are very generous and staff are welcoming and friendly. Even though the space is small you can fit large groups together in the bar area. You can also order food for collection (Sunday lunches)"

Normal menu I was a bit disappointed with the portion size of the calarmi but the crispy pork belly was great.
Not the best selection of lagers/ales but a nice pint of what they do have on offer.
Reasonably priced. Good atmosphere on a weekend within the establishment.
