"Definitely the Indian restaurant to go to around the Romsey area. Been many times now and this place is consistently great. Nice atmosphere, the staff are all lovely and efficient, and the food is delicious, flavourful and very reasonably priced."

"We went to this Romsey Indian when staying nearby last week. I selected it based on the reviews of other but was a little disappointed with the flavour of the food. We were originally placed on table next to the toilets / even though the place was practically empty. We asked to move, which we did.
We had pompadoms and they came with 3 dips. We both had Rogan Josh - me the prawn and the old fella had chicken, plus a portion of rice and garlic bread.
The curry was not at all Rogan Josh norm, the sauce was not tomato or onion based and slightly odd tasting. The nann wasn’t dry garlicky and we were filled but not particularly satisfied. Would not visit again. Sorry."

"Visited Purbani and have been many times before.I felt that the standard of meals has declined.Husband had favourite dish of Vindalo and was more like a beef stew.Not hot in taste and all meals were tepid in temperature.
Such a shame as we usually enjoy this establishment but will think twice before returning"
