"Spotted this place when passing, when I looked it up it was quite a special place in Southport.
Booked a table but we were ready earlier so called and they were more than happy to change the time for us.
As you walk in, it takes you back in time. Staff were dressed victorian style, black dress, lace apron and hat. The service was first class. Gail looked after us and was fab.
The decor was beautiful and they serve Toast dinner everyday 😋.
We went for roast dinner and wasn't disappointed plenty of it, veggies extra cooked to make them softer (for the wife!🙄) daughter smashed her dinner and it was a decent size!
I had corned beef Hash, which was delicious.
Didn't have room for desserts. But the apple pie looked amazing! 😋 might have to grab some before we head home."

We always go to the nostalgia tea rooms when we are in Southport town centre because they do excellent meals which are always nice and hot, they also have a gluten free menu which is great for me as I am coeliac and can not have wheat or gluten, the service is excellent and it doesn't take a lot of time to be served and then receive your meal so if you are looking far a place to have a meal then this is the place for you. The only downside is that the restaurant is up a long flight of stairs so it will be a problem for people in wheelchair.
