"I always find the staff at Costa not customer centric and across their stores I always get the feeling when being served that I am causing inconvenience, however I like Costa coffee and continue to go into their stores. On Friday 20th June I visited Costa Coffee, White River, St Austell and I have to say the three staff including a girl called Chloe were amazing. Not only did they know their products, they were kind, friendly and made me leave with a smile. They showed the same level of customer care to all customers in the store at that time. This truely was my best Costa experience which can be noted by me leaving a review as I very rarely do so. Please make sure these staff members get the recognition they deserve. They provided a family. Friendly and personal experience that you would expect from a small business and not an international chain. Great work guys and the refreshing drink was neither too sweet or too tart."

Visited in store recently for coffee and asked the lady at the till if all of the cakes apply for the free birthday slice from the app (it was my birthday, obviously) and she just simply said yes. They always seem quite grumpy at the shop inside the services which is a shame. I've worked in customer service and hospitality for years but even without this, surely it's just kind human nature to say happy birthday when someone goes into store and clearly scans the birthday cake reward?!
