Reviews Summary

Customers consistently praise the Courtyard Cafe for its delicious homemade food, particularly cakes and light lunches, and its exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. The charming setting, both indoors and in the garden courtyard, adds to the overall delightful experience, though the popularity means it can get busy, so booking ahead is often recommended.

"What an absolute delight of a cafe. I have visited a couple of times for cake and coffee, and it has been a treat. They have a great selection of delicious cakes and scones. My partner visited the cafe with her friends and enjoyed the food. Going to the cafe is a holistic experience. To get to the cafe, unless you are a local, you drive through really beautiful countryside. The cafe itself is very picturesque. The cafe has been created using, for the most part, old farm sandstone buildings. At the front of the cafe, there is outdoor seating in a pleasant, well tended garden area. Inside it is bright and comfortable with the tables well laid out. The staff are so friendly and really make you feel welcome. Inside the cafe there is a small gift area and an area where you can buy fresh milk from the machine. I would highly recommend the Courtyard Cafe as a destination to be visited. It may be worth booking ahead as it is, rightly very popular."

"We reached the Cafe as part of our Scotland NC500 trip via motorbike. The destination is lovely, the service is great and the food excellent. Highly recommended, if you are in the area!"

"Love this place. The decor inside is warm and inviting, the staff are great, and the food excellent. We go here often, not just to eat but also to buy some fresh milk that comes from the cows on the farm. It can get busy so be prepared to wait. Highly recommend. They have chickens, so cute!"

The top five places to eat in and around the Trossachs

Situated at Knockraich Farm in the beautiful Endrick Valley, this is the home of the famous Katy Rodger’s Artisan Dairy whose products are all made using milk from the farm’s 60-strong herd of British Friesian cattle. This is one of my favourite tucked-away gems for a breath of fresh air, panoramic views and food for the soul. The Courtyard Cafe feels a little bit like being invited into someone’s country kitchen for lunch.
