Reviews Summary
River House Stirling garners mixed reviews, with many praising its beautiful lakeside ambiance and friendly staff. While some diners find the food delicious and the presentation appealing, others consider it overpriced for the quality and occasionally underseasoned or overcooked. Dietary options, particularly gluten-free, are noted positively by some. ^R1^ ^R2^ ^R5^
"The staff and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Kayla, our server, went above and beyond for us and was super nice. The gent who delivered our first round of drinks was funny too. Food was stunning. He has Korean Tacos and I had fajitas. Both were devoured. We had dessert but were so full by the end to finish it. The frozen strawberry daiquiri was so lush. We were sat by the window at night and the whole atmosphere was beautiful. We will definitely be back."

"Came for late lunch and had no problem getting a table. Gorgeous setting next to the water. Inside is well lit, spacious and clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We had Balmoral chicken and steak pie. Both were lovely. I opted for chunky chips however there were a couple of extra chunky ones that weren't cooked through. Very disappointed with the veg, although cooked perfectly, it was covered in oregano. I like oregano but not on my cabbage and broccoli."

"Simply overpriced and very pretentious for what it is.... Our experience here was rather underwhelming, the setting is gorgeous and the decor is lovely BUT the food is really what let things down, to start Haggis Pakora really was delicious, fresh and very well presented however the main was disappointing. The Steak Sandwich was to be honest something I'd struggle to serve my dog, asked for medium rare steak, it showed up well done and presentation was terrible for a main that was around the £16 mark I expected more. For tea, a coffee, two mains and two starters we paid over £76 and didn't feel it was worth the very high price tag."
