What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners consistently praise Loxleys for its innovative British and European cuisine, with many highlighting the friendly and attentive service, especially for special occasions. The unique treehouse patio and cozy interior also receive acclaim, although some guests have noted occasional slow service and inconsistency in dish preparation.
"Beautiful meal out! It was our anniversary and the staff were so lovely (we only got Lauren's name, but everyone was warm and welcoming), they even left a card at our table to say congratulations. The food was incredible, both the pork belly and risotto were to die for. We will absolutely be coming back in the future."

"I'll begin by saying Ella was amazing! From the moment I walked in the door, she had a welcoming smile on her face. I challenged Ella as I usually do most servers and she really made my experience great!
Likewise, the dishes I had were delicious. I had the crispy pork salad, the prawn in garlic sauce, and the salted cod fritters. The pork was fantastic, however, I would recommend making the butter sauce a bit more appealing for the prawn. Finally, the fritters were great, a bit too salty and not enough crunch from the cod inside. On that note, I think the salted cod app would do well with slightly frying for a bit of texture.
Overall, I had a wonderful time, and left with a satisfied stomach."

"The perfect night out.
My wife and I first came to Loxleys 5 years ago on the same day that I proposed.
We booked the same date 5 years on to celebrate our 10 anniversary together.
The service was as incredible as the food was delicious.
Patricia was brilliant and even brought out a complimentary dessert to celebrate the occasion.
Already looking forward our next visit.
Thanks so much for making our night so memorable and special!"

On the plate, the eclecticism is there again, though committed with good taste and refinement; Welsh rarebit rubs shoulders with tempura prawn tacos on a menu of appealingly light, vibrant dishes.

We had our final meal here after we had booked our table as it gets really busy here due to theatre goers eating out before their showing. It’s such a lovely restaurant decorated with deep green walls and flamingo figures with the original dark wood beams. I had a Vodka, Soda and Lime to drink with my Beetroot & Walnut Burger with Fries.
