"Lovely food! The lamb dish was amazing!"

"We were in town for a family birthday party, but stole a few hours in the early afternoon to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary.
Booked relatively late notice, but there was loads of availability. Arrived a little early, however were allowed to sit in the lounge area and enjoy a glass of Brut. We both opted for a light lunch before party mode, with myself going for the open white crab meat open ciabatta and my partner going for the mozzarella and pesto version. Both came with fries and a side salad. I will comment that the lunch options were a little disappointing, with only a few sandwich choices and no salads etc. Also we were not offered the option of an afternoon tea, however I'm not sure if that needs to be pre-booked and think we were a little early - 12:00 (which think they start serving at 13:00).
Despite the limited lunch options, both sandwiches were absolutely delicious with the fries nice and crispy. The Brut was also very delicious, and we walked away very satisfied.
The reason it doesn't quite reach the 5* rating is partly down to the limited menu, but also because it was very cold in there (one gent had to lend his jacket to his wife during the same service) and the bill came to £80 for a few sandwiches and 4 glasses of Brut. The staff were very attentive and we did walk away had a nice lunch."

"Very disappointing
The restaurant didn't live up to its expectations. The positives first: the place is very nice and the staff friendly and efficient. However, the dinner menu is somewhat limited and the food is, well, not very good. Were the place cheap, this would be acceptable but it isn't. I know many restaurants in central London in this price category, which are actually a lot better. In conclusion, this is not the fine dining restaurant you are led to believe it is."
