"Absolutely fantastic!! We booked a table for all. The staff were really attentive, nothing was too much of a trouble. The food was great and delicious served by efficient staff. The Restaurant was very busy but the staff were quick serving a perfect hot meal and clearing away the used dishes after we had eaten. The desserts were exceptional . The experience was really comfortable with no hassles."

A true cornerstone of Italian dining in Swansea, Vesuvios never fails to deliver authentic, flavourful dishes. Their lunchtime offer (12-3 PM, £11.50 for one course or £14.95 for two) is excellent value—and after several visits over the years, they’re still one of our go-to spots. 🏆
Here’s what we enjoyed this time:
🫓 Salted Bread – Light, salty, and perfect for dipping in balsamic vinegar.
🍕 Margherita Pizza – Classic, crispy, and loaded with rich tomato and gooey mozzarella.
🍝 Spaghetti Bolognese – Tasty, hearty, and packed with flavour, though a bit watery.

My calzone was huge and full of flavour (caution if you arent a lover of chillies !). Partners prawn and avocado starter was just as generous, and her chicken in white wine was delicious she said. Prompt and friendly service even though the restaurant was busy (8.45 booking on a Friday evening).
