"Had the brisket burger and the dirty bird fries, brisket burger was absolutely gorgeous and so was the dirty bird fries if very spicy. Party shared the lamb lollipops which was gorgeous sample someone else's tandoori lamb fries and they was sublime. Bar had a few very good craft beer options on tap, and the staff was very informative and let us sample the difference beers before buying. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was very laid back and welcoming. I was very impressed, and would highly recommend it to anyone who's wanting a top quality burger and gorgeous fries, the craft ale selection was the cherry on the top, I'll definitely be coming back again, very impressive, only downside is the parking."

Now there's another new kid on the block with Porthcawl welcoming a brand new tapas and cocktail bar called Bar 32 which opened last weekend at 32 John Street in the old Halifax building just in time for the Easter break. Open from 9am to late, the venue serves breakfasts from opening until noon every day and tapas from noon until 9pm.
