"My friend had her wedding lunch there and the atmosphere was so peaceful.
The food was amazing and affordable.
For main, I had the 1/2 baby rib. That’s the best rib I’ve ever had. For dessert, I had Oreo waffles and it was delicious too.
Our server Zoe was friendly and ready to help with our orders. We had other servers that supported but I didn’t catch their names. They were all amazing.
I don’t live in Swindon but if I’m in the area again, I’d definitely visit."

"It's been 5 years since my last visit and I decided to get the same main dish as last time which was Fish and Chips (Full) upon eating I noticed that there was branded paper underneath which I really am not a fan, as this paper can break easily and accidentally eat, when I eat I don't want to worry about nuisances. Then the side dish, Fish Tacos was nice but portion of three would be better than two but never the less really nice presentation. I will attach my photo from 5 years and then present one.
In conclusion the experience was lot better better 5 years ago, better plate and presentation

"Update response: Being known for a steakhouse there should have been more options or higher quality. Most places would have asparagus or other greens as an option to add on extra. The existing one half of tomato and one mushroom isn't much and the watercress on top was thrown on bitter decoration.
Food: asked for medium well but my steak came out well done. Didn't taste that good. Meal was £120. Limited menu on steak, not much vegetable options to go with it. Not good for a steakhouse. Seems fine for a bar.
Service was good. It was quiet
Place was pretty but extremely hot."

We had 3 Christmas lunch bookings with Harpers all on the same day, & the same time on 12th December 2024, which was a lot to organise with pre-orders and trying to fit us all in. Natalie and Susie at Harpers Steakhouse, at the Weighbridge, Swindon, were fantastic in getting this sorted for us very efficiently. We had the usual last minute cancellations, due to sickness, but they dealt with those with no issues at all.
