"First time in Ironbridge and looking for a place to stop for lunch. In popular tourist destinations this is something I always find difficult as often end up disappointed. Having wandered up and down the high street and checking reviews though I have to say I pulled a blinder with this selection.

I chose a cheese and sausage toasted sandwich, very generously portioned, tasty and moreish, and a side bowl of chunky chips, adding a refreshing cold drink the bill came in at a very reasonable price. The cafe had good ambience, if a little quiet, although that could have been due to the time of the year, I did find the decor a little confusing, maybe though it is this quirkiness that makes this cafe special, and it probably fits the nature of the town. Big bonuses here for the friendliness of the staff, the view, and the fact that it was very dog friendly with special little treats issued to your furry pals."
