"Had lunch here on our last day in Paignton before heading back home. It was great! The best things about this restaurant are the food and the vibe, as well as the view. You need to come here hungry as the food portion is very substantial. My husband ordered the Sunday roast -- delicious! The Yorkshire pudding is huge! Lovely ingredients. I ordered the fish and chips. Not only are the portions big, it was cooked to perfection! You can never go wrong ordering their signature dishes. If you book ahead you can request for a table with a beautiful view of the bay. Highly recommended."

"It's a beautiful pub right on the
Harbour in Paignton. Wonderful views from upstairs. Unfortunately,
you can not take your dog upstairs , but do allow dogs downstairs..
The staff were really friendly, which is a big bonus.. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was that I found my dish to be a little bit salty. I don't know if it was the fish or the sauce, and I would have liked a bit of greenery , like baby broccoli on the side. That will not put me off, and we
will definitely visit again."

"Visiting the area on holiday with a friend who lives close by, stopped yesterday for a drink, as it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. A good few choices of alcohol free lagers/IPA's as I was driving, and plenty more that did have!
Staff, the atmosphere, and the setting made us want to come back, so we booked a table for the Sunday roast today. What an excellent choice it turned out to be. My friend was using a wheelchair and the access is unbelievably considerate. There is a lift to take you on the top floor so you can still enjoy a fantastic view whilst eating. Everything we had was beautiful, cooked and presented and so very tasty. Thank you to all. Will definitely be back again."

We didn't plan it, but had a look for some gluten-free friendly places nearby, as he has been recently diagnosed with coeliac's, and i myself am avoiding gluten. I wanted to wait at few days after to leave a review, to see if my partner has any reaction (normally, he throws up straight away, and then feels sick for several days). He's caught a cold, so unfortunately, my findings aren't conclusive!

Our favourite new addition to Paignton this year is Harbour Light, a St Austell Brewery pub. Situated right on Paignton Harbour there is lots of outdoor seating and inside the ground floor is dog friendly. Enjoy coffee and cake or sample from the delicious menu including vegan options, sandwiches and a great steak.
