"I had really high expectations for the pizza but it was burnt and the large size (that cost over £16) didn't seem too large at all. The atmosphere was good though, especially for families and the staff were attentive."

Phoenix Chudleigh ▷ 25 Fore Street, Chudleigh, Newton Abbot TQ13 0HX, United Kingdom - Restaurant - Reviews
I visited the Phoenix in Chudleigh on Wednesday 16 October 2019 in the early evening, a weekday during term time. I was with one other person. This was my first visit. I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place. I parked in the street right outside the restaurant - parking was easy. The restaurant comprises of one fairly large sized pub style main dining area with plenty of tables with full table service. The team were very friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I enjoyed a baked camembert sharer for my starter and a delicious chicken burger with added cheese and bacon with a side of onion rings for my main course. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was very good value for money, I paid around £25 for two courses and drinks. Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come and visit again.
