"First visit. All the meals were great.
I had the chicken platter and 2 others had steak pie."
Lesley Fowler
"Me and a friend went here for afternoon lunch, I ordered the half chicken plain, chips and corn. There were way too many chips and they were hard and not warm at best. The corn was freezing cold as if it was straight from the fridge. And the half chicken was barley warm and seemed like it had been microwaved. It had a funny taste to it. Would not recommend this place for food. My friend never ate hers either and she got the stake and ale pie. The atmosphere was dead, but we did go jyst after 12. There was no music playing mg in the background either.
More people were arriving as we were leaving. But the group that came in as we were leaving were complaining that they never got their pre booked table ready. Never coming here again."
kelly cole
"Booked Christmas dinner for 6 people at £65 per head for 5 courses, never ever again . Booked it for 3pm only got starters at 4pm they didn’t bother bringing the champagne melon and made us wait until 5.15 for the main course then closed the kitchen at 6pm came over to our table at 6.10 and said oh sorry you didn’t get your deserts or mince pies and coffee we will open the kitchen for you again but there will be a wait we just said don’t bother never again and I will never eat there again after that. No chance of a refund just said come in any time for your deserts and mince pies oh my god what a joke! Extremely disappointed other guests sat near us also missed out courses of their meal and wanted to complain but the manager refused to come down and speak to us absolute joke of an outfit ."
