"First time in this lovely place, made to feel so welcome, we had our dog with us(teddy) a very large rottweiler! Nicki and Chris were working, and what lovely ladies they are.
The food was lovely, the tea and coffee were perfect.
Lovely atmosphere in here, will definitely return, and recommend this place to all our friends and family."

"This is our go to place for deli’s food, hot drinks and ice cream in the summer.

Opted for the ‘winter warmer’, Hot Turkey Baguette with a side dish of frittata fries. Homemade coleslaw accompanied the warm and moist baguette that was totally delicious.

It was a filling meal and the americano hot drink was also accompanied with a homemade star shaped ginger biscuit.

Service was excellent and the staff are always very polite. This is also a dog friendly cafe."

"Went to the Custom House Cafe today with my Son. Went in for a drink and decided to have some lunch. My Son had BBQ Dirty Fries it looked lovely he said it was so fresh and tasty. I had Beef Stew and a crusty roll this was top notch full of flavour the beef was melt in the mouth the crusty bread with I think a hint of rosemary was perfect with the stew. I can't recommend this place enough great value for money, friendly staff and a lovely clean place in the perfect location. We will definitely be back."

Places to Eat in Weymouth

Weymouth's Custom House Quay is the location of the eponymously named Custom House Cafe, whose reputation proceeds it when it comes to breakfasts, lunches, coffee and cakes. The historic building perches right beside the harbour, and when the sun is shining, there are few places more pleasant to while away an hour than sitting at one of the outside tables and watching the world go by. Their fried breakfasts are the best thing to wake up to on a holiday morning, and throughout the day, their menu makes sure no stomach goes rumbling.

Weymouth | The Dorset Guide

Custom House Quay is on the Melcombe Regis side of the river estuary and the Old Harbour is on the Weymouth side. The two harbours were often opposed over trading rights until they were officially united by Royal charter in the reign of Elizabeth I. The Borough of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis was formed in 1571. An original bridge, linking the ports of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis, was built in 1597 but the present bridge dates from 1930.
