"Authentic Italian, all waiters speaking in Italian. Owner very engaged and part of delivering service, ensuring his customers enjoy themselves.
We were seated around 6:15pm on a Saturday in early July, didn't need to book. Restaurant half full. Seating both upstairs and downstairs, very large restaurant and decor is really beautiful, calming atmosphere. Separate toilet facilities for men and women, well kept.
Food service was prompt. Pizzas delicious, thin and crispy, generous toppings, quality ice cream for dessert (chocolate pieces in the chocolate ice cream, strawberry pieces in the strawberry). Happy to provide extra plates and spoons when we wanted to share.
Only area of improvement I'd mention is being more welcoming to children - having something to do whilst they wait (most restaurants provide crayons and colouring) and waiters didn't seem to want to smile or speak with the children. We have a much better time as a family when we are all engaged at the restaurant. It didn't feel unwelcoming, but it would have made a difference to our children's experience."

Visited this lovely Italian restaurant whilst visiting family and the food was very good and service was friendly if the more inexperienced waiting staff made a few faux pars (handing us dessert menus after the starters!). An enjoyable place to be and a good selection of dishes to choose from. The white bait and scallops are both excellent starters, and the cheeseboard was good.
