"Dog Friendly.
Fabulous Carvery on Easter Sunday. Excellent choice of meats, especially the melt in the mouth beef. Wonderful selection of veg and a rich tasty gravy.

Really nice ambience clean and tidy despite being very busy. We were blessed with polite & friendly staff who were extremely good at their job. I couldn't recommend The George more but booking is definitely advisable."

"Visited this lovely pub for a family gathering.
The pub has a cozy and family friendly atmosphere, we were seated upstairs on a bigger table and there was plenty of room. The only thing I have to mention is the heat, we were really hot as the heating was on very high. But we were able to open windows so wasn’t that bad.
I opted for the Fish & Chips and it was lovely! The fish tasted fresh and was a large portion too. It also came with mushy peas, tartar sauce (which was incredibly tasty) chips and curry sauce, so it was a decent size meal.
Next time I’m in Weymouth I’ll definitely consider visiting again :)
Thank you to the lovely and friendly staff."

"I had lunch there with my family of 8 today and all I can say is wow. We had all spent a week in Weymouth trying many different restaurants and this one definitely came out on top. I’m gluten free, so it’s difficult to find places that cater for my diet. The menu was full of different options for gf and the staff were more than happy to help too. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Thank you, 5 star all the way."
