"10/10!!!! best momo in winchester and staff were very friendly. service was a little slow but it was friday evening and only seemed to be one guy waiting and running food. Food was worth the wait though, highly reccomend and would like to come back and try the Nepali Thali. Staff also highly accommodating with my preferences as they made me a paneer tikka masala despite the menu options only being chicken and veg. Very good for vegetarians!!! Menu also has excellent allergen information"

"If I could give 6 stars, I would. This place is a GEM. Some of the best, most flavorful dishes I’ve ever eaten. Reasonable prices, perfectly attentive service, and really lovely atmosphere inside. You could miss it easily, but don’t! Right across from Alfred’s Statue, an easy walk from most places in town. Try the lamb kebab, tandoori chicken, and the seafood specialities. We would eat here every single day if we lived here."

"A hidden gem! Being Nepali, I rarely go out to eat Nepali food, but when I do they usually disappoint. But not Taste of Gurkhas, from service to the ambiance in the restaurant and the food, they really smashed it. I went with 3 other non-Nepali friends and it’s safe to say, they were also blown away.
I’m sure they make everything fresh, so a slight wait for food, but it was so worth it. I even asked for a recommendation and I’m so glad I did! The sichuan chicken and the fried rice was just unbelievable with so much flavour, I scoffed down ALL of my food, and the main course portions are not small!
the naan is to die for.
10/10 for Taste of Gurkhas, I’ll be coming back soon!"
