Reviews Summary

Meimo is celebrated for its authentic Moroccan cuisine and exceptionally warm, family-like service, making diners feel truly welcome. Reviewers consistently praise the flavorful tagines, mezze, and refreshing mint tea. While the primary focus is Moroccan and Mediterranean, the availability of alternative dishes like burgers appeals to a broader audience. The atmosphere is described as inviting and comfortable, suitable for families and special occasions alike.

"We loved our lunch at Meimo.

Restaurant has indoor & outdoor seating. The indoor is decorated in beautiful Moroccan style. Service was very efficient, friendly & welcoming.

They also cater to those who don't want Moroccan food, with sandwiches, salads, burgers & English breakfasts.

We loved our lamb tagine, which was flavourful and very tender with just the right amount of spice. We ordered flat bread to mop up the beautiful gravy.

We also had a mezze plate - they offered a special on 3, 4 or 5 sharing plates. We enjoyed the calamari, aubergine zaalouk, chicken wings & meatballs. All were delicious!!"

Trish Solly

"This is the first time we try the Moroccan Mediterranean dishes. The grills are more smoky or may be the restaurant. The tastes are very appealing. The Chicken brunettes are great and the portion is big. The mint tea is really nice and refreshing after the meal."

Adrian Leung

"“Visiting from out of the country, we received exceptional attention and service. The staff had a great attitude, and the food was absolutely wonderful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience — I would definitely recommend it 100%.”"

A Guide to the Perfect Day in Windsor, England

Head to Latinos Taverna if you’re in the mood for Greek cuisine or Meimo, a wonderful, family-owned Moroccan restaurant. The Ivy or Leaf, situated in The Castle Hotel, are great choices if you’re looking for classic dishes from around the world like steak, prawn curry or fish and chips, but in a more bougie setting, with a heftier price tag. The Eton Mess has a smaller selection of dishes on their menu but the food is so damn good.

Just over the river in Eton, Gilbey’s offers a set menu to linger over, featuring St Austell Bay mussels and panko-crumbed fish of the day.
