For starters, we had the red peppers and mozzarella cheese as well as shrimp cocktail. Our main course was Chicken Cacciatore for myself and for my daughter, a steak. Both were absolutely phenomenal. Alongside of that were family style dishes of green beans, roasted potatoes and pasta with sauce. The service was exceptional. I had not been here in quite some time, but we will definitely be back. This was one of the best dining experiences we have had in quite a while"

I can honestly say there isn’t a restaurant I’ve been to more times than Canali’s. It’s doesn’t matter if I come for a dinner with two on date night or if I come with the entire family to celebrate, it’s always great!
After 75 years they are still family run and it shows! The Garlic Chicken is a family favorite, the Cavatelli in the Tomato Basil Cream Sauce is always to die for. But don’t sleep on their other choices, their NY Strip Steak is one of the best steaks in the Capital District.
Maybe you feel like you want a quiet night at home instead, their takeout service is excellent! Portions are huge, order takeout and you’ll have dinner for two nights, and it’s just as good as dining in!
If you’re looking for old school Italian food in a classic restaurant don’t wait any longer and come to Canali’s!"
