Reviews Summary

High Noon Restaurant & Saloon is celebrated for its exceptional food, particularly steaks and New Mexican specialties like shrimp enchiladas, all served within a historically rich and atmospheric Old Town setting. The staff receives consistent praise for their friendliness and attentiveness, often going above and beyond to accommodate guests. While most diners have a fantastic experience, a few reviews mention steak portions could be larger.

"I went by myself and I just had the beef bites. This was junks of beef and red chili sauce with flour warmed tortilla. It was just a little spicier than perfect. My waitress was very attentive and that was very nice. Her name was Gina. I came early on a Thursday evening around 4:55 p.m. and there was no waiting at that time. I imagine it gets busier another times. There was plenty of parking then as well."

John Spencer

"Beautiful Old vibe atmosphere with Amazing food. We ordered world famous beef bites for starters and it vanished from our plates real quick well cooked meat with red curry and Chile relleno&blue corn taco platter another favorite and a good service ❤️"

Monika Soundar

"Love this place and the staff!!! The food is amazing for the price and can easily spend 2 hours here just drinking a cocktail and admiring the unique style of the restaurant. The green chille stew was spicy and steak cooked a prefect medium rare."

Ideal for diners who like to combine dining with local history, the High Noon Restaurant & Saloon first opened its doors in 1974, though its location, a 230-year-old building in heart of Albuquerque’s Old Town, has an even longer legacy and, rumor has it, its own resident ghost. Specializing in steaks and wild game with New Mexican and Southwestern flavors, High Noon’s standout entrees include the 14 ounce center-cute rib-eye with haricot vert and red wine demi-glace and braised short ribs with peach BBQ sauce, mashed potatoes and crispy fried onions complemented by the restaurant’s specialty margaritas and premium tequilas.
