Reviews Summary

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is celebrated for its generous portions of fresh, Cajun-inspired seafood and vibrant, energetic atmosphere. Diners frequently praise the attentive service and the overall deliciousness of the food, with many highlighting unique dishes. However, some reviews mention occasional issues with food preparation consistency and challenges with holding conversations due to the lively environment. A few diners have also reported less-than-ideal service experiences.

"We drove up from El Paso for my wife's birthday. This is the only place to get grilled Spanish Octopus for my wife. And they did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly. My grilled halibut was awesome. The 287-mile trip was nice. The food at Pappadeaux made it perfect. Of course, we forgot to take the photos until after we dug in. But I promise it tastes even better."

"Four of us had a delightful dining experience at Pappadeaux in Albuquerque. The restaurant had a lively and energetic atmosphere, though it was a bit difficult to hold conversations. Our server was prompt, friendly, and efficient in taking our drink orders. He provided detailed information about the freshness of the seafood, the menu options, and the kitchen's ability to customize orders, mentioning that it is a scratch seafood kitchen. Our food arrived promptly, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I was slightly surprised when my order wasn't prepared as requested, as I had asked for broccoli instead of potatoes, and the server initially said that's how the dish is prepared. However, the issue was quickly resolved. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I look forward to dining at Pappadeaux again in the future."

Jim Johnson

"Dom our waitress did a fantastic job of serving us and made the experience even better. He had a great smile and made us feel comfortable… he asked probing questions about our likes and the types of drinks we liked and recommended some great options. The food didn’t disappoint either, although they had run out of crab and lobster. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to have Dom serve you."

Best Seafood in Albuquerque, NM

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is one of those spots where the atmosphere hums with energy the moment you step in. The dining room fills with the scent of spicy, buttery Cajun cooking—think New Orleans with a desert twist.
