"By far the best Italian food I’ve ever had. My grandmother is from the Amalfi coast of Italy and I remember growing up she would make gnocchi by hand in the kitchen with my mom. The first bite I took of my gnocchi al gorgonzola brought back those memories and my wife said she saw me tear up. I’ve not had Italian food outside of my own home that was this good in forever. We also ordered the caprese salad as an appetizer and it was phenomenal. The mozzarella was very fresh and the balsamic fig glaze had a wonderful aroma to the palate. She also ordered the tomato basil soup, which she loved since it was served chilled. My wife was convinced her seafood special was the best thing she’s ever had in her mouth (thanks Il Granaio for showing me up lol). The scallops were Seattle pier level quality in terms of freshness. Let’s get to the big one… “leave the gun, take the cannoli.” On my dead grandmother’s grave I swear it was the best cannoli I’ve ever had, even over hers. Next time I come here which will hopefully be soon, I’ll be buying some to go to freeze. The only thing to pick at would be the peach Bellini my wife ordered which was less than spectacular. Outside that, this dinner was in the top three I’ve ever had in my life at a restaurant. Make reservations, you won’t be disappointed!"

"Il Granaio is a gem! From the warm ambiance to the incredible service, everything was top-notch. Tony B was an outstanding waiter—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome.
The Chicken Parmesan was absolutely amazing: perfectly breaded, smothered in rich marinara, and topped with golden, melted mozzarella. Served over home made pasta, it was comforting and full of flavor. We also loved the creamy gnocchi—pillowy and indulgent.
If you’re craving authentic Italian, this place is a must. And if you get Tony B, you’re in great hands!"

"Il Granaio Authentic Italian was a delicious spot right next to the train station in Mt. Vernon. I wish we had longer to eat because all the food coming out looked great. The Caesar salad and butternut squash bisque were excellent. Thanks Elizabeth for making our quick dinner enjoyable!"
