Reviews Summary
Taste of Europe is widely praised for its incredibly authentic and delicious Eastern European cuisine, with many dishes receiving rave reviews. Diners also appreciate the unique atmosphere, enhanced by a gift shop and sometimes live music. While the food is a major draw, some reviews suggest patience may be needed during peak times.
"Came on a Saturday at about 3pm and the restaurant was quiet. They have some quiet mood music on which was actually pretty relaxing. The staff was exemplary and answered all of my questions. I had been hankering for some pierogis and found this restaurant! The Ukrainian Borscht was DIVINE! Even my husband who does not like beets at all gave it a taste and then proceeded to eat half my cup! 🤣 with or without the sour cream was delicious so if you’re watching your dairy don’t worry you’re still getting a great dish! We ordered the dumpling sampler (no photo cuz we chowed down) and everything was delicious! Already feeling full but wanting to try a dessert I got the honey cake of the day and hubby got the caramel crepes. No dish had a crumb to spare! Also they put real whipped cream on the plate vs a cool whip type of cream and that’s major bonus point for me! 10/10 would go again! And the flavors though delicious aren’t too crazy so if you’re picky or sensitive to anything you can still find something delicious and freshly made! Can’t wait to come back!"

"I absolutely LOVE this place. I live in Fort Worth and drive here to eat. We came here for my cousins birthday and came back for mine. Originally I went with my husband and I can’t get enough! The food is authentic and the cabbage rolls and borscht are 🤌🏼. I wish I had enough money to come here daily lol. The employees and kind as well. If you’re curious please just go here and eat you wont be disappointed!!!"

Taste of Europe — and Russia
It doesn’t get more interesting than the place’s Russian gift shop/Army-Navy store/divey scratch-kitchen café vibe. Where else can you see a framed picture of Guy Fieri, t-shirts emblazoned with images of Stalin and Lenin, rows of authentic Russian military garb, glass cases full of handcrafted Russian nesting dolls and religious iconography, shelves of foreign movies and music albums, and an Eastern European snack aisle?. Seriously, had it started snowing or a Fiddler played on the roof, I would have sworn I had passed through some Narnia-like portal to Mother Russia.
