Reviews Summary

The Tipsy Oak is a lively spot with a fantastic outdoor patio, known for its creative burgers and delicious margaritas. While the ambiance is vibrant, some find the noise level to be high. Service is generally praised for its friendliness and attentiveness, though occasional waits are noted.

"We loved the self seating outside. Even though it was hot (90+ degrees) it was nice getting there at 3:15pm on a Friday and their fans were blowing which helped some. Love the picnic tables and umbrellas. A waiter found us not long after we sat down. Very attentive and if you love margaritas—-these are the BEST on the rocks margaritas. Their food is so good too. You must try the blackened salmon BLT and the fish and chips! Pair with the sweet potato fries. They were perfect. Better blackened salmon than gourmet seafood restaurants. Our waiter was so good. We will definitely be back! And they have live music on the weekends so we have to come back to check it out. Sorry for the photos-we had already eaten most of the food!"

"The ambiance is absolutely amazing with beautiful decor that gives off a cozy yet vibrant vibe, perfect for a night out. There's plenty of parking, which is a huge plus in a busy area like this. It does get crowded on weekends, so plan accordingly if you want a spot without waiting.

The prices are reasonable, and the portions are large with solid quality, the food tastes really good, with flavors that hit the spot. However, it was way too loud both indoors and outdoors, making it tough to have peaceful conversations. The outdoor live music added to the energy but contributed to the noise level. If you're looking for a lively spot rather than a quiet chat, this is ideal. I'd give it 4 stars and definitely return for the atmosphere."

"One of our favorite spots in the DFW area.
I like their variety of live Music on the weekends.
I do wish they had healthier food options but anything we’ve had there we like.
From Wings, to Tacos, to Burgers and of course a cold beer. Haven’t been impressed with their cocktails but can’t ever go wrong with a cold beer.
It is always hard to find parking but if you’re patient enough you can park for free on The street.
Just a friendly note: on the weekends they do tend to get pretty busy so be patient., it’s worth the wait.
Definitely recommend this place 👌"

Underrated Patios

The Camp Bowie Boulevard institution boasts that it’s the oldest still-running restaurant in Fort Worth, and yet somehow its patio never seems to come up in outdoor round-ups. It’s in the back of the restaurant and feels like someone’s backyard, with stone walls obscuring the parking area and nearby houses. Festooned by strings of lights and decorated by wrought-iron tables, an attractive fountain, and patio-friendly plants everywhere, the space feels like a miniature version of that other Fort Worth Mexican-restaurant institution’s patios.

With a solid roster of chef-driven pub fare and a serious stock of over 30, mostly local craft beers on tap, it's no surprise that The Tipsy Oak consistently draws a crowd. If none of those float your boat and you are interested in where Hurtados in located, I'd try the place right next door called the Tipsy Oak. Really cool atmosphere with an outdoor area and good bar food. If you want a REALLY good burger and fries, go to the Grease Monkey just a few hundred yards west of there and basically next door to the Babe's people are mentioning.
