Reviews Summary

Jing Aspen is highly praised for its exceptional Asian fusion cuisine, particularly its fresh sushi and inventive rolls, and the signature Peking duck. Diners consistently highlight the outstanding service from a friendly and knowledgeable staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere. While some note the high price point, the overall experience and quality of food make it a favorite for many visitors to Aspen.

"The rating on this restaurant is way too low. This is my favorite restaurant in Aspen. This is the restaurant everyone ends up at the Owner is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet and he comes out and talks to you and is very appreciative for visiting. The dishes are amazing and I will post pictures of them. The sesame salmon is phenomenal and melts in your mouth. Make sure you add this restaurant to your list when you visit Aspen"

"Okay this is hands down one of my fav spots in town. The staff is so fun and friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home - Erika always welcomes you with a smile, Troy is my fav server he makes the best recommendations and is so fun, and Manny behind the bar makes the best drinks. Also don’t sleep on their happy hour - $3.50 oysters with roe and $12 cocktails - AMAZING. Everyone else is great too. Love their patio so much - vibes are immaculate. Oh and the sushi and food? Incredible. Great vegan options too. Love the kale fried rice and bonsai roll, and the fish is always so fresh!"

Jackie Akerberg

"We absolutely loved this place, and we actually went three times there during a 7-day trip. yes, it is very expensive (which I expect lowers the rating for some), but the sushi is very fresh and very tasty. Atmosphere and service are good (not amazing, hence 4 stars for that). We thought the sushi was as good as other high-end sushi restaurants we have tried elsewhere, and the eel on rice was outstanding. Highly recommend!"

Jing is a part of the Charlie Huang restaurant group which is known in Colorado for its exceptional global fusion cuisine and sushi. In addition to the unbelievable selection of sushi rolls, you must start with the lobster tacos and any of the 10+ housemade dumplings are fantastic (my personal favorite dim sum is the porcini mushroom dumpling)!. Jing has certainly become a new spot in town for sushi lovers like me.

How to Enjoy Aspen on a Budget

Jing, a new sushi spot, features a selection of $7 rolls and $6 dim sum dishes for those who sit in its bar lounge (first come, first serve). Kim Edwards, a local sales and marketing professional, loves the bar menu at L’Hostaria, which features smaller portions (read: lower prices) of dishes like salmon tartare, beef ravioli, and chicken parmesan—many of which are still ample enough to provide leftovers.
