Reviews Summary

Fede is a highly acclaimed Italian restaurant known for its authentic, homemade pasta and fresh seafood, all served in a warm, welcoming riverside atmosphere. Diners rave about the reasonable prices and friendly service, with many calling it a favorite spot. However, some visitors note limited vegetarian options and occasional long wait times due to its no-reservation policy.

"Excellent food with solid proportions and reasonable pricing. Server, Jen, was nice and attentive. Owners were gracious and kind. I had radiatorre with braised lamb (seriously, so scrumptious), my dad had the bucatini with a healthy heap of clams and we shared a side plate of mushrooms. So grateful I finally got to try this restaurant!"

"It's a nice treat when you have friends that visit a city frequently enough to make recommendations. The combination of Yelp info, plus knowing a name or two, made for a wonderful visit to Astoria. While Fede isn't located on the end of the pier that it calls home, my table did have a bit of a view of the river. But the view isn't why you should come here. For me, the revelation was a crostini appetizer with preserved tomatoes and ricotta. For my wife, it was the fish soup. And we hadn't even gotten to the entrees yet. The cocktails we chose were light and refreshing. PS - the lasagna with bechamel was also a delight.
Fede doesn't take reservations, so I imagine it's packed during the summer. Easily worth being a centerpiece for an off-season visit to Astoria."

"Anytime we travel through Astoria, we treat ourselves to Fede ❤️(And to be honest, I’d travel here just for Fede). Sumptuous food in a charming, cozy atmosphere along the riverside. The folks who work there are friendly and thoughtful (thanks, Jen!), and everything we have tried over the years has been delicious (and - bonus - affordable!): the fish soup, lasagne, radiatore, arugula salad, braised spinach, complimentary bread, stunning house white wine, panna cotta… eat it. Eat it all."
