To be real… I love visiting Atlantic City year-round, but I would love to know your favorite restaurants in #AC ! One of my favorite places is Amada, which is nestled in a casino with one of the best views of the boardwalk. I always get the octopus, but this time I added the green salad as a starter before I got the complementary tuna and baguette. That tuna was so good, I had to take a little t...

Reviews Summary

Amada offers a sophisticated Spanish dining experience with a breathtaking ocean view, celebrated for its creative tapas and exceptional service. While many praise the delicious food, vibrant atmosphere, and attentive staff, some diners note the high noise level and inconsistent pacing of dishes. The chef's tasting menu is a popular choice for a comprehensive culinary journey.

"We had dinner at Amada Monday evening. It was so amazing !! The Tapas are absolutely delicious and the Red Sangria was delicious as well. I highly recommend this place. The service is on point as well. Had Eduardo and he was perfect! The views are beautiful, be sure to reserve a cage that overlooks the ocean."

"We came here for a bite to eat while in AC for the night. This was located inside the Ocean Casino resort (and we wish we had stayed here instead of the hotel we picked) and we found it on Google maps when looking for dining options.

We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately by a bartender. We ordered drinks and decided on some small plates. The food was served pretty quickly and everything was good. Of the three things we got I liked the brussel sprouts the most. The bartender and bar staff were all friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was upscale casual. They were fairy busy but the noise level wasn’t bad. The prices were what we were expecting.

We had an enjoyable time here."

"Amada Restaurant is a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal in Atlantic City. The atmosphere is warm and stylish with a modern Spanish touch, and the location right on the Boardwalk makes it even better. Sitting by the large windows and enjoying the ocean view while dining created such a relaxing and memorable experience.

The menu offers a wide variety of Spanish dishes, with plenty of tapas to share. Everything I tried was flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. The seafood stood out in particular — cooked perfectly and full of taste. Pairing the food with their wine selection made the meal even more enjoyable.

The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to give good recommendations without being overwhelming. The pacing of the meal was just right, and I felt well taken care of throughout the evening.

Overall, Amada is a great choice if you’re looking for delicious Spanish cuisine in Atlantic City with a view of the ocean. Whether it’s a casual night out or a special occasion, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit."

The rustic atmosphere of the Atlantic City outpost of Chef Jose Garces's tapas-style restaurant is the perfect accompaniment to a night out at the Ocean Casino Resort. The Spanish-inspired menu includes dishes like bacon-wrapped dates, Spanish omelet, crab-stuffed peppers, and seafood paella, but if you're feeling really hungry opt for the chef’s tasting menu or the suckling pig.

With an end in sight to the pandemic, we rediscover some of the best high-end restaurants in South Jersey | Food and Drink

Amada Iron Chef Jose Garces opened Amada as his first Atlantic City restaurant inside the former Revel casino when it first opened in 2012. The space was forced to shutter when Revel went under, but it came back better than ever with the opening of Ocean Casino Resort in 2018. An absolutely perfect spot to dine on a romantic evening, the setting is beautiful – contemporary décor in dramatic hues of black, tan and blue are complemented by sweeping ocean views, and a creative menu of Spanish and Mediterranean tapas-style dishes are joined by house specialties, including a lobster paella that is out of this world.

Jose Garces’ flagship restaurant went dormant when Revel closed its doors a few years back, but we were thrilled to learn that it survived the resort’s transformation to Ocean. The approachable menu has many highlights from the extraordinary charcuterie selection to the grilled meats and seafood. But there are few dining experiences as special as partaking in the chef’s tasting menu, where a handpicked selection of small plates can be paired with the robust wine selection for a truly memorable evening.
