Reviews Summary

Clark's Oyster Bar is highly praised for its exceptional seafood, particularly its fresh oysters and renowned lobster roll. Diners rave about the unique flavors, impeccable service, and vibrant coastal atmosphere, making it a must-visit in Austin. Some guests have noted that vegetarian/vegan options may not be as prominent and that certain dishes might be on the pricier side.

"We came as soon as they opened on a Saturday because there were no reservations available and were seated right away on the patio. The service was top notch without being overbearing. Best food we’ve had in years. The taste of each dish was incredibly unique and light with complexity that breaks up the monotony of bbq and other traditional staples. Can’t wait to come back again and again when we visit Austin."

Taylor Newsome

"Clark's was great! With the weather and the atmosphere, it felt like being on the coast and having some amazing seafood. Make sure you start yourself with the ceviche and grab an oyster from each spot you won't be disappointed. You can't go wrong with any of the food truly a great spot to relax and enjoy a light beer and some amazing seafood."

Greatgobsofgouda

"Place is nice and despite it being very hot, the outside has a great breeze and it’s cooling with sprinklers. The service was excellent, our waiter was super attentive and friendly. We did have the crab salad and it was delicious! However, I would not recommend it due to there being pieces of crab shell in our salad. Clark’s took our caviar virginity and we would have it no other way. The toppings were great and the flavor was fresh and delicious. dog friendly"

Clark’s Classic Mai Tai is a throwback to the tiki cocktail created in 1944 by Vic of the famed Trader Vic’s. The summery mai tai here is a blend of two rums (Neisson Blanc Rhum and El Dorado 8), curaçao, fresh lime juice, and bar manager Alex Holder’s house-made orgeat (almond syrup infused with rose water and citrus among other secret ingredients!), and a splash of potent Bacardi 151 on top.
