What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Red Zeppelin Pizza is a popular spot in Baton Rouge, praised for its unique specialty pizzas, rock 'n' roll theme, and lively atmosphere. While many enjoy the creative menu and friendly service, some reviewers have expressed disappointment with ingredient quality and crust consistency, noting it doesn't always meet expectations.
"This is a must try place. It’s thin crust pizza and really cool pizza choices on the menu. I love the “Bou Ray” pizza (boudin!!). The wait staff is some of the best around. The service is quick and personable. The pizza is amazing - just don’t forget to try the cheese breads as well!!"
Jeff Williams
"Ordered pepperoni slices since it was my first time trying it out and didn't want to order a whole pie. It was baked the way I wanted without asking for it to be well done. The only small thing I can say is that pepperoni was too crisp and shriveled up for my liking. It still tasted decent. Other than that I would highly recommend for good customer service and good vibes."
Alice Craig
"On Tuesday 4-8-25, about 6PM, my friend and I visited Red Zeppelin for the first time. We chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. The server, Olive, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered jalapeno bread and a Mamma Mia pizza to share. Both were good. Could have used a little more cheese on the pizza, but it was good. Also, the pizza crust was very thin and crunchy, which is a little hard to chew. Would have liked options for the crust. Overall, it was a great experience and will probably go again!"

What are the best places to eat pizza in Baton Rouge? | Opinion
Towards the end of my journey, I went to Red Zeppelin, which is a quaint little restaurant off of Perkins Road. It is around 10 minutes away by car, but if you don’t have a car it is a bit of a hike. At Red Zeppelin, there’s both an inside and an outside sitting area to sit in, but considering the heat, I decided to sit inside.

Best meal in Baton Rouge for under $10?
If we split a small at Red Zep, it is just the right amount for us and like $6/person. With a medium, we have a couple slices leftover and still $8.75/person.
