"Probably the cutest DQ I've ever been to! Pulled up out front, and there's a campfire going with lawn chairs arranged around it to sit and enjoy. There's also a pergola with tables that would accommodate larger groups if needed. But the atmosphere was just quaint and adorable!
When I went inside, it reminded me of a place that was opened in the early 70's but carefully maintained. Not run down at all, just harkening back to a different era in it's styling. The staff were friendly and courteous, and it seemed that they had people working there who really wanted to be there which was a refreshing change from most fast food locations these days."

"Staff is friendly and efficient, the burgers were good and the rings were above average, hot and crunchy. On Sunday night, half an hour before closing, it was pretty busy since this DQ was the only restaurant in Grand Marais still open. The great crew were still cheerful and kept things moving."

It did seem a little short staffed, but the young employees working there were calm and professional. If you go during high tourism season, I would expect to wait. Blizzards and burgers were very good."
