We had delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches here, which was perfect for a quick fuel-up before heading out on another day of hiking. Grab a maple latte, a breakfast sandwich, enjoy it with a stunning view of the lake, and then head off on another adventure!

This family-owned coffee shop is typically my first stop in and last stop out when coming to town. Here, I was introduced to the maple latte, and let’s just say my life was changed. I have had a few more maple lattes in my life since discovering this one, but none of them are as sweet and delicious as the one from Java Moose.

Java Moose Coffee cleared out their interior to make a very efficient ordering system. They've got a small patio to enjoy your brew, or again, just cross the street you can sip away while watching the waves roll in. Can't beat starting a weekend morning with their cake donuts and some coffee on the beach!

This popular small coffee shop offers hot and cold drinks, including espresso drinks, smoothies, and frappes. Java Moose also has a small selection of baked goods and light bites. There are two locations, one traditional joint along highway 61, and a seasonal walk up right on the shores.

A trip to Grand Marais isn’t complete without a stop at Java Moose Cafe. They’ve got a large selection of iced or hot beverages as well as breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They’re located directly across the street from the harbor, so grab your order to go and enjoy it by the water!

Located in downtown Grand Marais, this iconic establishment has been a local favorite since 1992. They have an excellent coffee menu (I wholeheartedly recommend the maple latte!). Then, they also offer a collection of scones and muffins for breakfast, and sandwiches for lunch.

Java Moose is an excellent coffee shop with the friendliest owner!. They have two locations – a full building off the highway and a window-service-only location right on the harbor. I always order the maple latte (made with local maple syrup) with oat milk.

Java Moose has two locations – one in the main town area and another walk-up location by the beach on the way out to Artist Point. I loved the Harbor Fog Latte and Ryan loved his coffee. We took our drinks and donuts out to Artist Point to enjoy!

Before you mosey over to Angry Trout, you can enjoy coffee with a view from Java Moose or grab a smoothie bowl from Shook and eat it on bench in the harbor-front park. Need a place to stay?. No worries - there are plenty of nearby accommodations.

Every good small town needs a wonderful coffee shop, and thankfully, Grand Marais has Java Moose. Here, you’ll find great coffee and tea, plus a whole assortment of baked goods. But maybe the most underrated part about Java Moose?

No gluten free breakfast options other than a trail bar, but gluten free beverages. Super long wait this morning, 25 minutes, but beautiful day to wait outside. Cute logo items like sweatshirts, tshirts, coffee beans and mugs.

Our first day I tested the Nordic Miel, and it is fabulous!. All the ingredients are made in Minnesota too!. The perfect and necessary fuel for a chilly and windy morning walking around Grand Marais.
