"Amazing! So fun, so kitschy. If you love anything tiki, you will appreciate this gem in Big Bear. It gets crowded quick on a weekend (summertime visit for us). We had to come back another day before opening time and were the first in line. Super friendly staff, self-order kiosks. The best poke bowl I have had (Tahiti Bowl), not exaggerating —so fresh, perfectly balanced sauce, perfect sized portion, simple overall in presentation and ingredients but sooo good (granted, I’m not a poke bowl connoisseur! But I know fresh and well-balanced!). We ordered a pork bowl (can’t remember the name, pulled pork and pineapple), also tasty. Also had the Island Style waffle and it was delicious, not too sweet, the nutty coconut amaretto flavors went so well together. Husband loved the beer he got (from Maui Brewing Co, one of their IPAs) and I enjoyed their pina colada smoothie. Must go here when in Big Bear! Not one negative aspect. Plus: they are dog friendly and have a great outdoor balcony with view of the lake."

"Poke was alright - the staff at the bar said they were rated the best in the country on yelp but each bowl is kinda expensive and does not have a variety of toppings - fell a little short of the expectations set by the staff. My friends said the fish was kind of gummy. The drinks looked good but we didn't get any. The staff is very friendly and the decor goes all out! They definitely curate their vibe."

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I tried the poke bowl and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the view is stunning!
