Diners consistently praise the friendly service and cozy atmosphere, making it a beloved neighborhood spot. However, some guests have noted issues with billing accuracy and occasional inconsistencies in dessert quality.
"Johnny’s Restaurant is a fantastic spot for a hearty, Southern-style meal! I had the pot roast, collard greens, and Creole red beans for lunch, and every bite was amazing. The pot roast was tender and full of rich flavor, while the collard greens were perfectly seasoned. The Creole red beans added a nice kick and depth to the meal, balancing everything out wonderfully. The portions were generous, and the food tasted homemade in the best possible way. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere made it an all-around great experience. Highly recommend Johnny’s if you’re looking for comfort food done right."

"I was skeptical ...It melted away like butter with each & every bite 😂.The food was very good .I ordered the chicken pot pie .Perfect crust ..More veggies would have been good but it was packed with crazy chicken & very seasoned. The Mac n cheese was good & I loved the butter beans ..The cornbread muffins have actual corn baked inside ..I'm a big food critic so if I say it's GOOD trust me it's on point ...I wish I had room for a dessert but instead my greedy self had the fried green tomatoes which were also delicious.crispy edges just how I like it .The staff were very friendly & helpful ...I will definitely be back to try other foods y'all cooking up in that kitchen !! 🎉..Thx for a pleasant ,fulfilling experience!"
