Reviews Summary

Buffalo Cafe is celebrated for its cozy, small-town diner atmosphere and its hearty, delicious American comfort food, particularly its breakfasts and burgers. Diners rave about the friendly service, generous portions, and unique homemade jams. While most reviews are glowing, some mention that portion sizes have decreased recently and the space can get quite crowded.

"We had a great breakfast here! The café was very busy, so we sat at the counter—but it actually added to the charm. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Compared to other diners, the prices were very reasonable. The homemade jam was especially tasty!"

Teresa H

"Great small town diner. The food was great! Best blueberry pancake I've had in quite a while. Also recommended the "Eggs Hunter Style". Good coffee, great service! If you're looking for a filling and well cooked breakfast/brunch, this is the place. The sign above the diner has a different name of Buffalo Yard. You're in the right place. The front of the diner says, "Buffalo Cafe.""

Jennifer Brethauer

"You gotta know what you’re getting into before coming here. This place has been here forever and is all about the vibes. The food is fine but that’s not the reason to come here. The decor and vintage Western charm is the main draw! If you just want diner food there’s plenty of other places in town for that. This place is iconic, so be prepared to wait and be uncomfortable.

Best time to go is on a week day in the late morning. This place is not for large groups. You are most likely to get a good table without a wait in the late morning after the early birds leave.

The service is great! I love the friendly atmosphere."
