The menu features elevated takes on comfort food; at lunch expect more sandwiches. Who wouldn't want to dive into a tater tot poutine or a bowl of house-made onion dip with potato chips, while chatting up your dining partners and enjoying the occasional live music?

I would say that the one at Neptune Oyster in Boston's North End is definitely on the list. If you can actually get past the lines and secure a seat in this perpetually sold out joint, they have mastered the classic, stuffed with passion and integrity. I prefer their version with hot drawn butter. Belle Isle Seafood Store in Winthrop has a behemoth of a roll overflowing with knuckle and claw that you can chow down on while sitting on their patio watching the fishing boats roll in with fresh catch. I would say a new favorite is at Bostonia Public House in the Financial District. A modern interpretation that includes avocado, coriander, citrus aioli and.....wait for it....BACON. Seriously, how could you go wrong with the duo of lobster AND bacon!

Bostonia Public House is your typical trendy cocktail and dinner spot. Great vibe, but more importantly great drinks and a chance to try a lesser-known but classic Boston food — Boston baked beans. Boston is affectionately known as Beantown because they were once part of the molasses boom and one of the best things to do with molasses is to make baked beans which are traditionally served with a little loaf of brown bread.

For a stately, vintage & modern decor to enjoy hot or cold lobster rolls in Boston’s downtown try Bostonia Public House. All the food is terrific, our favorites other then the hot buttered lobster roll were the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Fish & Chips, and the Pasta VOL. The restaurant is big and has both outdoor and indoor seating. We recommend making reservations in advance as it can get busy here.

Oh, and nobody who actually lives here — seriously, nobody — ever refers to Boston as “Beantown.” That being said, you can certainly find the classic molasses-marinated beans as a side dish on a handful of menus around the city, including those at Bostonia Public House and okay, yes, the Beantown Pub; they’re the only one who uses that name, I swear.

Bostonia Public House is one of the busiest American-style brunches in Boston. Although this place gets quite packed in the morning, their outdoor space provides plenty of seating for everybody. Bostonia Public House is also a great place to enjoy a cocktail for brunch with their delicious strawberry shortcake pancakes or breakfast burrito.

Let me start by saying that Bostonia Public House truly impressed me with their outstanding service. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with genuine warmth and were extremely attentive throughout my entire lunch experience. One of the highlights of this restaurant is their commitment to catering to different dietary needs.

Another Great 8 winner is Bostonia Public House in Boston's Financial District. This swanky restaurant is a throwback to Boston's bygone days, with a rich wooden bar, comfortable seating and live music. Since Bostonia pays homage to all things Boston, their menu had to have a lobster roll, but this one is anything but ordinary.

As soon as I walk in, I’m greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere, with its charming decor and friendly staff. The restaurant has a cozy feel with its exposed brick walls and rustic furnishings.

You parents might enjoy the build-your-own bloody Mary bar, while the food menu offers everything from chocolate chip pancakes to avocado toast to Wagyu corned beef hash. Low-key live music in the house every Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. adds to the atmosphere.

If you find yourself in the downtown/financial district looking for a fun environment and some fresh seafood, this is the place for you!. There’s a raw bar and other seafood-based meals. However this restaurant is on the most expensive end.

Info: Enjoy an array of different bands at Bostonia Public House, a sophisticated and classy bistro in the heart of downtown. Bands typically play through the weekend, but there’s also live piano music throughout the week too.

The menu is clearly marked with with plenty of GF options, from lobster rolls to burgers, wings, raw bar, along with plenty of entrees and sides. Note that the fryer is no longer dedicated gluten free.
