Reviews Summary

Diners consistently praise Lone Star Taco Bar for its incredibly flavorful tacos, exceptional guacamole, and vibrant atmosphere. Many highlight the friendly and efficient service, making it a top choice for both casual meals and late-night bites. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few mention that certain dishes can be just 'average' or that service can be inconsistent.

"My husband and I went to Lone Star Taco Bar for the first time tonight. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient! Our waiter answered all our questions and took great care of me with my food allergies! I felt totally safe!! The food was packed with so much flavor and everything just melts in your mouth! The guacamole was literally the best I’ve ever had in my life and the tacos were flavorful and fresh!! We wanted to try one of everything so we will definitely be back. The ambiance is welcoming and I loved the decor. 10/10 stars!!"

"Lone Star Goes A Long Way

Cambridge edition of LSTB consistently carries its weight- hand made, freshly prepared tacos from the all-day menu are the raison d’être. That said, options abound (plates, tostadas, tortas) so there’s ample variety. The Street Corn is a keeper..
Limited beer options but does offer a rotating tap ticks it down a notch, but apart from that, it is easy to become a regular!"

"My cat Nox LOVES bread. It’s her favorite human food to steal, and she’s extremely photogenic, so she gets away with it too.

Let’s get down to brass tax. While El Cruncho Supremo may indeed be El, it isn’t truly so Cruncho, nor is it particularly Supremo. But it IS wrapped in tortilla, and tortilla is made out of dough, and dough is what a small photogenic cat like Noxler is after. She is a mathematician insofar as the cube theory of food applies (e.g. “is a pizza technically an open faced sandwich”), and she excels at the equation because her answer is “I will eat that bread while you are not paying attention”.

Now Omelette (my dog), she couldn’t give a damn. Cruncho or Notto, she is concerned with the proverbial Bread of Sleep, on the couch particularly, which is a couch that “belongs” to me only in a hypothetical sense (though I did pay American Dollars for it) because she spends most of her time on it (and time, as we all know, is money) so in reality SHE is the true owner of the couch, at least in a broadly financial sense if you squint your eyes. Or not, I don’t know, I was just kinda zoning out while eating the Cruncho Supremo.

It’s an alright sandwich. Or dumpling. I don’t know, apply the cube theory of food to it and see what sticks. Don’t expect too much Crunch nor that much Supreme. But DO expect an extremely cute little black cat with no tail (she was born without it) to muscle her big round eyes in front of you and stare, with malicious intent, at El. And if your question is “will she steal a bite when I’m not looking?” I would not recommend you or the dog lose any sleep over it.

She will."
