What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Yvonne's is lauded for its stunning, speakeasy-like ambiance and elegant decor, making it a top spot for special occasions and a chic night out. While many rave about the cocktails and unique atmosphere, some diners find the food to be inconsistent or overpriced for the quality, and a few mention overly salty dishes. Overall, it's a visually impressive experience, especially for those seeking atmosphere and creative drinks.
"I’ve enjoyed coming to Yvonne’s over the years. It definitely has the best ambiance of any restaurant in Boston - chic, stylish, and full of character. The dishes are solid, though not mind-blowing, and the service is decent. For two people with one drink each, the bill typically comes out to around $200. But honestly, it’s the atmosphere that keeps me coming back."

"Yvonne’s is a restaurant with a really cool concept. Gives a semi speakeasy feel as you enter a salon to begin with. Once through the door it’s a beautiful atmosphere with 2 different sections. One is the main dining room and the second is a library setting. The server was very attentive and friendly. For the price I feel like the food can be alittle better. The pita we had in the beginning would have been fine without the spiced beef sausage. Tastes very cheap and overpowering from the rest of the dish. The prime rib chop was cooked perfectly, but the horseradish jam mushroom gravy was too much being all over the steak. If it was on the side, the customer could add as much sauce to the steak. Last but not least the dessert was amazing. We would probably next time just have drinks and dessert at the bar."

"Yvonne’s is probably my favorite bar ever. It’s literally everything I could have ever imagined. I loved the vibe, it’s chill and has that cozy speakeasy feel. It’s dark, relaxing, and really comfortable. The drinks and apps were great, and there was a little charming surprise that made our date night even more special. I’m keeping it a fun secret, but it was honestly the cutest part of our bar-hopping night. Definitely a spot we want to come back to!"
