Fried Chicken, meanwhile, is cooked to a juicy crisp and served with honey butter.

Finally, after a summer heat wave that seemed to last all summer, we had a comfortable night that enticed my wife and I to the street-side picnic tables at this Winooski favorite. Misery Loves Co. offers its fried-chicken meal family-style, meaning it’s best as a supper built for two. We ordered side veggies (greens and herbs plus tomatillos) that came with our half-chicken cut into seven pieces.
