Onyx rotates its menu of single-origin coffees weekly, and has a knowledgeable and friendly staff from whom you can learn a lot about the industry.

One of the speciality shops in Burlington, they have very fancy types of coffee. I got the chicory maple latte, which is made with chicory root and had some nice earthy notes to it. If you haven’t guessed, Vermont has a lot of maple-themed goods, and maple lattes are a standard at most stores and for good reason—I hardly ever order regular lattes now because of how good the maple version tastes.

Really creative and delicious specialty drinks had the C+C espresso and tonic and it was UNBELIEVABLY amazing. If you re overwhelmed or have questions, the staff is really lovely and outgoing. If you re looking for somewhere quiet to work, they have lots of seating and the vibe is very chill.

Onyx Tonics is a fairly new coffee shop with a very knowledgeable team dedicated to doing coffee right. They're right near the farmers' market. If I'm doing deliveries just outside of Burlington, I love Blank Page Cafe at Bread and Butter Farm; you can get fresh veggies and meat too.
