this place is absolutely the real deal. I called a few days ahead to make a reservation for 2 to celebrate our 5 years anniversary. jj was friendly enough to have a bouquet of flowers on the table with a "happy anniversary" sign for us. they even put candles in our dessert! they made the night really much special and unforgettable. our two meal times were clearly carefully thought out and expertly executed. chef jack has a vision for what he wants to come out of this kitchen and it shows. that was the best meal we had both been moving here to oregon a few years ago. truly one of these rare meal times, where there is never enough bite on the plate and everyone is better than the last. if they are close to cannon beach, they will please one and take a meal here. From appetizer to dessert, they will be every bit of the way awestruck. Stellar service, rich aromen and intimate ambiente.

Our fanciest and favorite meal during the trip was at the Bistro Restaurant and Bar. It might have had something to do with the gale force winds and pounding rain outside that made the warm intimate space all that more inviting.
