Reviews Summary

Lazy Susan Cafe is a charming, family-owned spot celebrated for its delicious, fresh breakfast and lunch offerings, particularly its omelets and waffles. While the cozy, intimate atmosphere is a major draw, some find the portions modest for the price. The cafe's popularity means waits are common, and the cash-only policy requires a bit of planning.

"What a charming place! Inside it is so cozy. You are close to other tables, but it is easy to stay focused on your own companions and isn’t too loud. We sat on the second floor and had a nice view with a little breeze from the window. The food came out fast and the service was so nice! When we went it was cash only, not sure if this is regular or just at that time."

Charlotte Bryan

"My breakfast was really good! The coffee hot and service great. My only critique would be the portions of crab and potatoes were skimpy. (Potatoes a little dry) For $41 (includes coffee and tip) I should have walked out with a full belly. The atmosphere was pleasant but tight. This place has a great reputation and I would concur worth waiting for 15 minutes."

Diane Pavlat

"A bit of a wait here when you put your name on the list. Super cozy seating upstairs. Awesome server. I ordered the mushroom omelette and the crispy cheddar on the edges was life changing. My husband loved his wheat waffle with fruit and whip. One of our favorite spots in cannon beach!"

12 Best Restaurants in Cannon Beach, Oregon (& Cafes, Bars)

At Lazy Susan Café, breakfast is the main event and has been since this family-run spot opened back in the 1980s. The menu is short, classic, and done right—think fluffy omelets folded around local crab, blueberry pancakes stacked high, and cinnamon rolls that disappear faster than they hit the table. The dining room is tiny and charming, with floral curtains and mismatched mugs adding to the old-fashioned appeal, and the wait for a table is almost a guarantee on weekends.
