"Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill is in a brand-new location, and it looks fantastic. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with an open kitchen that adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. They also have an impressive wine cellar with a wide selection of wines. Service was excellent from start to finish having Julie as our server. We had lunch and everything was cooked perfectly—especially the steak biscuits, salmon, and steak salad. The wedge salad was also fresh and flavorful. A great experience overall."

"The atmosphere was beautiful. The food me and my mom and I received was cold, It took what felt like forever to finally get our food. The waiter, I think, went on break right after we arrived, and it has made it kinda awkward to try and review the service. The waiter was very nice. He was kind enough to help explain things on the menu as this was our first time in. We came to Chapel Hill for appointments for myself for a kidney transplant. They were running a whole list of tests to make sure I was healthy enough to qualify for a transplant. This was supposed to be our celebration meal that I had qualified, and within the next 7 years, I will hopefully be receiving a kidney. However, the steak when we got them were almost ice cold. The flavor was also dreadful, along with the texture. I thought a coffee filet would be an interesting take on a usually traditional dish. It is definitely an INTERESTING flavor. I don't think I would find myself going back to this restaurant. When I receive a kidney transplant and have to live in Chapel Hill for a bit, this is not a place I would go or recommend."

"We traveled from Greensboro to try something different for a belated Mother’s Day outing. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server was Amanda who’s also a bartender so she listened to our questions and recommended drinks all of which were very good. We left very satisfied but the cherry on top is my mom left her sweater, before we even got down the street they called us to let us know."
